Match & Kerosene submitted a shirt design for a MUSE contest recently. Check it out here and please make sure to vote for Cincinnati! See more images of this design after voting.
It’s an exciting new time for MySpace Music accounts as they recently changed the interface, back end, and front end design capabilities on the site. Retro accounts appear to be unchanged. However, new changes will prompt users to upgrade to the new account, leaving some old features and capabilities lost in the changes. Don’t panic. We’ve checked out the new MySpace and it’s awesome! It’s a lot more user friendly and still leaves room for creating custom headers.
Please email us at info@matchandkerosene.com for info and pricing to be one of the first bands out there with a custom MySpace using the new MySpace Music.
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted here (sorry). I have recently relocated my office, holidays, lots of work, yada yada yada…
I have been playing music again in an atmospheric post-hardcore band not unlike Dredg, Thrice, Cave In, YouInSeries, Elliott, or Mew. So here’s the thing: WE NEED A SINGER!
We have a streaming website setup with our last practice* demos available for download here: http://www.matchandkerosene.com/uploads/Embers/index.html
Please keep in mind this is a very crude – one mic – punk rock - live recording of the band. Very punk rock. Either way, the band is collectively excited with how these songs are turning out and we hope someone out there with a great voice thinks so too.
Please tell your friends and get the word out there!
Every once in awhile, dreams come true! Cave In is back from hiatus!
Jairus is back as well!
If only JR Ewing, Elliott, and No Knife would follow the trend of amazing bands getting back together…
Had to share this!
Check out the new Boys Like Girls Myspace layout. I bought a gnarly book that has a bunch of old jazz record covers and drew inspiration from that. This explains the quirky micro-groove and stereo sound logos I added. Those logos were on a lot of the records from the 50′s and 60′s. I thought it was fitting to add them as the band is back in the studio working on a record now.

Chad of ChadDoesDesign just finished the Stay Mypsace which features some of the CD Packaging artwork I did for the band. I was really stoked to see how the art was transformed with the cool flash work in the header. Check it out on Stay’s Myspace.
